Milking in the Field
The Open Air Dairy is unique in its approach to UK dairy farming. Currently the only large scale dairy farm in Europe that is milking cows in the field as they graze, Tom Foot and Neil Grigg are producing milk from pasture fed dairy cows which are milked in mobile milking parlours which follow the cows in the field!

WE ARE PASSIONATE FARMERS
A farmers son and self-taught mechanical engineer. Tom’s passion for farming is borne from his Dorset farming family roots. Tom manages day to day operations on the dairy unit.
A farmers son and Chartered Accountant. Neil’s love of farming and interest in business has led to him becoming a passionate grass based dairy farmer. As well as managing the overall business finances, Neil runs the young stock rearing unit.
